What is a Share Link?
Share Links allows you to securely share Resources directly from the Resource Library without an Accord.
Typically, you would have to add a Resource to an Accord in order to share it with a customer. Share Links allows you to create a custom link that points to the Resource Library, and directs customers directly to the link.
Sharing Options
There are two ways of sharing a Share Link:
- Sharing the URL Link directly with a Customer
- Having Accord email the link to a Customer
Option 1 - Sharing a URL Link
The URL Option generates a unique and trackable URL Link that you can share with your Customer in an email, doc, or other form of communication.
When using this method, you have two options to consider:
1) Require Email
When you select "Require customers to be logged in or enter email before viewing" your customer will be required to enter an email before viewing the Resource.
2) Expiration Date
You can add an expiration date to the link. The link will expire on this date.
Option 2 - System Email
To use the email option, Accord will send the Resource to your customer on your behalf. Simply add the email addresses of the customer(s) and click Share Resource.
Notifications & Alerts
When your Share Link is viewed by a customer, you will be notified over email and in-app – unless your notification preferences have it set otherwise:
