[Adding Resources from Google Drive](https://collaboration.inaccord.com/knowledge/google-drive#adding_resources)   ### Prerequisites & Permissions - Only **Accord admins** can connect to Google Drive - Only **Accord admins** can add or modify Accord Resource Library Resources    ### [The Resource Library & Google Drive](https://collaboration.inaccord.com/knowledge/google-drive#Resource-Library-and-Google-Drive) The Google Drive integration is most frequently used to manage content in the Resource Library. It allows you to easily add Files and Folders from Google Drive to the Resource Library, and ensure they are synced.  When a Resource is linked from Google Drive to Accord's Resource Library, you will see a green icon indicating that it is a connected resource. ![Screenshot 2025-12-19 at 11.41.45 AM](https://collaboration.inaccord.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Screenshot%202025-12-19%20at%2011.41.45%20AM.png?width=670&height=328&name=Screenshot%202025-12-19%20at%2011.41.45%20AM.png) In addition, on the Resource page itself, you'll see a **synced from Google Drive** indicator, and the last time the file was updated. You can force these files to update faster by selecting the **Refresh** option in the Resource Library. ![image (2)](https://collaboration.inaccord.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image%20(2).png?width=670&height=160&name=image%20(2).png) When you connect a Google Drive folder to Accord, you aren't just linking a single directory; you are syncing the **entire folder structure.** This comes with the following added benefits: - **Automatic Inheritance:** Any new files or sub-folders you create inside that Google Drive folder in the future will automatically appear in Accord during the next sync. - **Hierarchy Maintenance:** Your organizational structure in Google Drive is mirrored exactly within the Accord Resource Library.   ### [Connecting Accord to Google Drive](https://collaboration.inaccord.com/knowledge/google-drive?hsLang=en#connect) In order to establish the connection between your Google Account and Accord: 1. Click your **Avatar/Profile Picture** on the bottom-left hand corner of Accord 2. Click **Settings** 3. In your Profile, click **Connect** next to **Google Drive** 4. Click****Allow**** in Google's verification modal Each Google Drive connection is at the individual user level. Navigate to the **Resources** page of your Accord or Playbook 2. Click **Add Resource **on the top-right hand corner of Accord 3.
