Solution Providers vs. Customers

Solution Providers = the sales or success individuals who own the Accord workspace (you!)

Customers = any external member you add to an Accord

Install and Configure Slack (Admins Only)

1. In Accord, go to Settings → Integrations
2. Click the Connect button to start the Slack authorization flow. This will give Accord permission to post the webhook updates to a public Slack channel of your choice.
3. Once authenticated you'll be redirected back to your Settings screen.

Push the following notifications to Slack

1. New Customer or Solution Provider is invited to the Accord.
2. New Customer accepts their invitation (or joins through an Approved Domain).
3. Any Customer or Solution Provider comments on any Step.
4. Any Step is assigned to a new Owner.
5. Any Step is marked as Complete.

Connecting an Accord <> Slack Channel

Option 1: From Accord
Open the Accord Details modal. Search for any available channel in the dropdown. Select the desired channel(s).

You can remove a Slack connection in the same way.

Option 2: From Slack

Open any Slack channel and enter the following slash command:

/accord follow [accord_link]

(The Accord link is the URL of the Accord you want to follow.)

Disconnecting an Accord <> Slack Channel

Refer to Option 1 above (From Accord). Navigate to the Edit Details page of the connected Accord, remove the Slack channel from the Slack Channels field, and click Update Accord.

Disconnect Accord <> Slack Integration 

As an Admin user,  go to integration → settings and refresh or disconnect the Slack connection anytime.
