Connect and Configure Gong (Admins only)

 

Connecting Gong to Accord only needs to happen once!

  1. In your Accord workspace, go to Setting → Integrations
  2. Click the Connect button for Gong to start the authorization flow. This will redirect you to your Gong instance to grant Accord permissions to access your Gong workspace.
  3. Once authenticated you'll be redirect back to your Setting screen.

Adding a Gong call to an Accord

For security purposes, you must explicitly use Gong's Share with Customers feature before adding your Gong call to Accord.

To add a Gong call to an Accord, you first must explicitly "Share with Customers" to make the Gong call visible to anybody outside your organization. 

  1. Navigate to the Gong call within your Gong workspace 👉 app.gong.io.
  2. Click on Share Call 
  3. Select Share with customers
  4. Click Edit and under Access ensure that you unselect: "require people to identify themselves to access the call"  
  5. Click Copy link to copy the link to your clipboard

  6. Paste this URL into the Add Resource Dialog
