Getting Started with Accord Intelligence

Getting started with Accord Intelligence is simple. Start with a plan and decide which playbook you want to activate with Accord Intelligence first!

For best results you will want to ensure that two things are true:

  1. Each section of the Accord comes with pre-populated headers and content suggestions. This helps AI populate the most accurate information.
  2. Playbook context is set up at the playbook level.

Suggested Playbook Content

At the Playbook level, ensure each section includes clear pre-populated guidance outlining what type of content should be captured.

This step should be built out when the initial playbook was created, and no additional lift should be required

If you do need to add suggested content, remember to highlight what information you are wanting to pull into that section.

Example: For the executive summary of an account plan, remember to highlight what information you are wanting to pull into that section. In the below example we are looking to add current state, opportunities, and strategic objectives.

When leveraging Accord Intelligence, this information will be populated with accurate data.

Building Playbook Context

Accord Intelligence pulls information from three places:

  1. Accord Playbook Context - Company descriptions, value props, and differentiators that are populated by Admins at the playbook level
  2. Information in each individual Accord - Information that is built into each individual Accord - think Stakeholders you have added, notes in next steps etc.
  3. Third Party Data - publicly available information on the internet, including company data, news articles, video etc.

Once you have confirmed the recommended playbook content is in place, the next step is to build the Playbook Context.

To activate and optimize Accord Intelligence, setup playbook context in three key steps by navigating to “context” at the playbook level:

Step 1: Define the Purpose of the Playbook

Navigate to the Context Tab in your Accord playbook and clearly state the playbook’s purpose (e.g., Account Planning, Mutual Action Plans).

Step 2: Add Context About Your Company

Write a few sentences that describe your company. This description should match your brand’s voice and tone to ensure consistent and effective AI-generated content.

Tip: Work with your marketing team to ensure you are populating the context with the most relevant and up to date information for that playbook.

Step 3: Input Value Propositions

Enter your company’s value propositions, tailored by segment, geo, or vertical. Accuracy and tone matter—this input directly powers the AI-generated content across use cases.

If there are key differentiators from your competitors that you consistently highlight, you can also add these to the playbook context.

Testing & Verifying Accord Intelligence’s Output

Now that recommended content and playbook context is set up, you are ready to test Accord Intelligence!

Simply go to an Accord you want to test, and click the Accord Intelligence button, this will generate your results!
